These locks mount on the check (or "meeting") rails of single and double hung sash where their checkrails rest flush when closed. The cam-action locking mechanism mounts on the checkrail of the innermost sash and engages into the keeper that mounts onto the checkrail of the outermost sash.

Installation of these locks is quick and easy and can be done with a simple handheld Phillips head screwdriver. Other design features include a 5/16 inch narrow keeper, cam-action fastening, and 2-1/4 inch mounting hole centers.
